our

COVID-19 Response

Dear Friends & Family,

This is certainly a challenging and extraordinary time, but we are confident that we serve a good and gracious God who hears our prayers, meets our needs and walks with us on this journey.

We actively monitor the advice from the NSW Government as well as recommendations from both the Greater Sydney Conference (GSC) and Australian Union Conference. As such, the leaders at Mile End Community Church (MECC) continue to meet to discuss the best course of action over the coming weeks and months. We're excited about the loosening of restrictions, but continue to take the necessary measures to keep our local and church community safe.

We will continue to monitor directives and keep you informed on the changes we need to make as a church.

In the meantime, you can attend church by registering or join us for church online each week.

Although our week to week practices have to be modified, our mission remains unchanged - the heart of who we are is to share Jesus Christ in ways that make sense, give meaning, and offer hope.

ways to keep in touch:

  1. Find us on Facebook and Instagram

  2. On the Mile End Community Church website

  3. Watch our streaming service every Saturday here

  4. Attend church onsite every Saturday by registering your place here

We are calling everyone to three things…

Pray

Prayer is an important way for staying connected to each other and to our God. Please pray for the ongoing safety of our church family and communities; for health and aged care workers at the frontline; for people who are doing it financially tough due to loss of work and income; and for our Nation’s leaders who have to make big decisions in an uncertain and ever-changing environment.

Support Our Community

There are also practical ways that we can support our community. MECC is encouraging those who can, to remain socially connected with your local community using the downloadable PDF. Click here to Download.

Give

We encourage you to continue to give generously so that we can help reach even more people in these challenging times.

Please stay safe, look after yourselves and your families. Know that we will get through this together. Let us all trust in Him.
